The identity didn’t reflect the sophistication of the platform. It lacked clarity. And it didn’t differentiate in a category saturated with dark palettes, abstract visuals, and fear-based messaging.
On top of that, the timeline was aggressive. The internal marketing and design team needed expert help and guidance in taking their strategy and forming into a flexible and scalable identity system, without compromising the depth of thinking and and longevity behind it.

Making risk visible
At the core of the identity is a modular visual system that brings Fable’s story of signal into form.
A fragmented digital pattern forms the hero of the system—representing individual data points, behavioral patterns, and the digital layer where human risk takes shape. Paired with photography, these fragments act as portals between the cyber and human worlds, capturing the moments where risk emerges.
The logo was refined for clarity and performance across every surface—from small UI moments to large-scale environments. Its form is built from two interlocking F’s that suggest locking and unlocking, while the negative space reveals an S.
Color and typography move away from traditional cybersecurity conventions. A more human, expressive palette paired with a flexible typographic system allows the brand to shift across contexts without losing cohesion.
Together, these elements form a system that is both unified and adaptable—built to scale with the product and the team behind it.
